Glenn Rallies CFL's Blue Bombers to Victory

July 5, 2007

WINNIPEG, Canada - Kevin Glenn, the former Illinois State quarterback, passed for 298 yards and two touchdowns to rally Winnipeg to a 32-23 win over Montreal in Canadian Football League (CFL) action Thursday night at Canad Inns Stadium, despite trailing 13-0 at the end of the first quarter.

The victory was the first of the season and keeps the Blue Bombers in sole possession of first place in the CFL's East Division. Glenn completed 22-of-38 passes, including a 62-yard, third-quarter touchdown pass to Terrence Edwards and a 19-yard strike to Chris Brazzell in the second quarter. Glenn distributed the ball well by completing passes to seven different receivers.

Glenn and the Blue Bombers will return to action on July 13, when Winnipeg hosts Edmonton at 6 p.m.
