Despite two turnovers to open the third quarter, the No. 7 Redbirds
Drake had interceptions on ISU's first two drives of the quarter, returning one for a touchdown, to tie the game, 10-10. The Redbirds bounced back form the back-to-back turnovers with a seven-play, 80 yard drive to regain the lead, 17-10. Junior wide receiver Kelvin Chandler caught his first-career touchdown on a 12-yard corner route to put the `Birds back on top. Drake answered with a 35-yard field goal after chewing up nearly five minutes of clock.
