NORMAL, Ill. -
Illinois State students living in campus residence halls will be able to view the Comcast Spotlight broadcast of ISU's men's basketball game at Northern Iowa Wednesday night, as well as the Illinois State-Evansville game Feb. 20.
"Our student group, Red Alert, has been tremendous at all of our home events this year," ISU Director of Athletics Dr. Sheahon Zenger said. "They bring a lot of energy, and I know our student-athletes feed off them. When we began exploring our local television package, I wanted to make sure that the Illinois State student body wasn't left in the dark. Thanks to Dean Plumadore, of the Office of Residential Life at Illinois State, and Comcast Spotlight, we were able to come to an agreement so that our away games will be televised on the campus cable package."
Both of the Comcast Spotlight broadcasts will be available on channel 3 through the ISU residence hall cable system. Wednesday night's game at Northern Iowa is scheduled to tip-off at 7:05 p.m.
