Former Illinois State guard Dom Johnson fired in 43 points in his third professional game for Handlova in the Slovakia-Extraliga League, but it wasn't enough as Handlova fell to Rieker Komarno, 99-92, Wednesday.
Handlova has a 1-2 on record on the season. In addition to scoring 43 points in Wednesday's game, Johnson has been a key contributor for the team and posted 16 points and nine assists in Handlova second game of the season.
At Illinois State, Johnson's career high was 32 points, which he scored at Florida State in the 2006 Colonial Classic.
