With the holidays around the corner, everyone will be spending lots of time with their families. With the latest marketing promotion, Illinois State Athletics is hoping that patrons won't forget the Redbird basketball family.
During Saturday's Illinois State-UIC men's basketball game, ISU Athletics announced the "Spend the Week with the `Birds" promotion, where single-game tickets will be marked down to $3 for each men's and women's basketball game from Dec. 29 to Jan. 3.
The Redbird women host Eastern Illinois Monday, Dec. 29, at 7:05 p.m., while the ISU men's basketball team entertains Evansville New Year's Eve at 2:05 p.m. On New Year's Day, the ISU women host Creighton at 2:05 p.m., while both teams will play on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena Saturday, Jan. 3. The women begin the double-header with a 2:05 tipoff against Drake, while the men face Creighton at 7:05 p.m.
The men's tickets sold during the promotion are for the upper bowl only, while the women's tickets are general admission. The offer remains while supplies last. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Redbird Arena Ticket Office, on GoRedbirds.com, or by phone, at 309/438-8000.
The Redbird Arena Ticket Office will have regular business hours Monday and Tuesday, but will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 24 thru Sunday, Dec. 28. The office will re-open Monday, Dec. 29 at noon and will stay open until the end of the women's game. On Tuesday, Dec. 30, the ticket office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The ticket office will be open from 11 a.m. to the end of the game on both Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Thursday, Jan. 1. On Jan. 2, the office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and at 1 p.m. until the end of the Creighton men's basketball game Saturday, Jan. 3. The office will resume normal business hours Monday, Jan. 5.
