The first of two Illinois State men's basketball coaches' luncheons, featuring Redbird head coach Tim Jankovich and a special guest, is officially sold out. The first installment will be held Wednesday at the DoubleTree Hotel, in Bloomington, Ill., and joining Jankovich will be Missouri State's Barry Hinson, the head coach of the Redbirds' opponent later that day.
The second luncheon with Creighton head coach Dana Altman is scheduled for Feb. 27, and only 12 tickets remain for that event. Tickets, which are $15 per seat for each luncheon, are available for purchase at the Redbird Arena Ticket Office. Tables, which seat 10, are also available to purchase for $125. Each patron must have a ticket to be admitted, and lunch and a drink are included with each purchase.
The luncheons are hosted by Illinois State Athletics, the Bloomington Kiwanis Club and the DoubleTree Hotel. All profits will be donated to Camp Limberlost, the oldest continuous resident camp in the State of Illinois and the oldest continuous project in all of Kiwanis International.
