Prior to Illinois State's first game in the 2008 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament, a pre-game event, organized by the ISU Athletics Department, will be held at "The Top Shelf," located on the mezzanine concourse of Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Date and time will be determined upon the release of the complete tournament bracket on Saturday, March 1.
Tickets, which are now on sale to the public, can be purchased for $15 through the Redbird Athletic Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000. The number of tickets is limited. The Top Shelf is located on the third level of the Scottrade Center. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, beer and pop will be available, and a cash bar will be on site.
All-session tickets for the MVC Tournament are $100, and can be purchased through the Redbird Athletic Ticket Office or on GoRedbirds.com. The deadline to order all-session tickets is Friday, Feb. 22 at noon, or until the ISU ticket allotment is sold out.
The Redbirds (18-7, 10-4 MVC) currently sit in sole possession of second-place in the Valley standings with four regular season league games remaining. ISU visits MVC foe Indiana State Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind. Tip-off from the Hulman Center is set for 1:05 p.m. CST.
