Illinois State Athletics, in conjunction with the ISU Alumni Relations office and the Bloomington Prairie Thunder, will present "ISU Night" on Saturday, Feb. 23, for the International Hockey League game between the Prairie Thunder and Fort Wayne Komets at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The event will include a pre-game reception and a reduced, reserved seating game ticket.
The reception, which costs $8 for admission, will be held on the Party Deck of the coliseum. Complimentary food will be available, and a cash bar will be on site. Each attendee will be given a "Spirit Pack," which will include two tickets to the Redbird women's basketball game the following day (Feb. 24) against Missouri State. Various other giveaways from the athletics department and the alumni office will also be offered.
The special $12 game ticket will be in a reserved section. All tickets will be distributed at the VIP entrance on the night of the game. Registration, which is available online at www.alumni.ilstu.edu/thunder or by calling the Alumni Relations at (309) 438-2586, ends February 22.
The Prairie Thunder is 19-26-2 on the season, and will be looking to defeat first-place Fort Wayne in the game. The Redbird women's basketball team (20-3, 10-2 MVC) has won two-straight games, and is in first-place in the current Missouri Valley Conference standings.
