NORMAL, Ill. -
This week's schedule for Redbird All-Access, the Illinois State Athletics Department's internet multimedia platform, will be full of Illinois State Athletics action, as both the Redbird softball and baseball teams will be featured live on Redbird All-Access.
The live Redbird All-Access coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, as the Illinois State softball team will play in its first game in more than two weeks when it plays host to in-state rival Illinois in a primetime matchup at the Redbird Softball Complex.
The Illinois State baseball team will make its first live appearance this season on Redbird All-Access, as the Redbirds are set to open Missouri Valley Conference play at home Friday-Sunday against perennial national power Wichita State. Live Redbird All-Access coverage of game one of the three-game Valley series begins at 3 p.m. Friday.
Illinois State head women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton will hold a press conference Monday evening to discuss her team's upcoming games in the 2008 NCAA Tournament, after the Redbirds won the 2008 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title Sunday. On-demand coverage of the press conference will be available Monday night.
Also on tap this week will be on-demand coverage of the Illinois State men's basketball team's weekly press conference, as head coach Tim Jankovich will discuss his team's Wednesday night home game against Utah State in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament. On-demand Redbird All-Access coverage of the press conference will be available by Monday evening.
