The Varsity I event scheduled for the Illinois State men's tennis match against Drake on Saturday, April 5, has been cancelled due to limited responses. While the event will not be held this season, the Varsity I Club is working on a similar event for next season along with a dedication ceremony for the new ISU tennis courts on Gregory Street.
The Redbirds (9-4, 2-0 MVC) bring a three-match winning streak into this weekend's competition. The `Birds host Drake on Saturday and DePaul on Sunday, both at 1 p.m. The matches will be played either at the Gregory Street Tennis Courts or the Evergreen Racquet Club, depending on weather.
