As part of the redesigned GoRedbirds.com, the Illinois State Athletics Media Relations Office will spend the next five business days helping you, the Redbird Athletics fan, acquaint yourself with your official source of Illinois State Athletics news. In Tuesday's installment of Inside the New GoRedbirds.com, we will highlight some aspects of one of most useful features of the new GoRedbirds.com, the downloadable schedules page.
The downloadable schedules page of GoRedbirds.com can be found by clicking on the "Schedules" tab of the top toolbar on each page. This page is extremely useful for Illinois State Athletics fans that want to stay "in the know" about when and where their favorite Redbird team plays.
On this page, fans will be given the opportunity to quickly and easily download the schedule of their favorite team into their Microsoft Outlook mail service, which will then place a daily reminder for each game in that sport's schedule. Never again will you forget about an important game ... it's all right there on your Outlook calendar, courtesy of the new GoRedbirds.com.
Currently, the downloadable schedules page offers schedules to download into Microsoft Outlook for the 2008 Redbird football, volleyball and women's soccer seasons, all of which are set to start within the next two months. This makes the early part of July a perfect time to download your favorite team's schedule so never miss another exciting moment of Redbird Athletics. Take a moment today to download your team's 2008 schedule!
