Rain Washes Out Day One of Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Illinois State women's golf team will have to wait until Sunday to get the fall 2008 season underway as inclement weather has cancelled the first two rounds of the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday.

The 54-hole event had 36-holes slated for Saturday, Sept. 13 and 18-holes scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 14, but heavy rains and unplayable conditions cancelled Saturday's action.

Play will resume Sunday at 9 a.m. for the final round with 18-holes scheduled for play.
