Redbirds-Sycamores Series
Illinois State leads the all-time series with Indiana State, 43-5. The series began in 1973 and the Redbirds won the first 25 meetings. Indiana State won its first match over the Redbirds in 1997 and has won four of the 17 meetings since 2001. The two teams split the series last season for the first time since 2004, with each team winning on its home court. The Sycamores won in four sets last year in ISU Arena, with three of the sets going into extra points.
Here We Go, Rego, Here We Go

Rego had two or fewer errors in four of those eight matches, including 11 kills and no errors on 23 swings against Wake Forest for an ISU season-best .478 hitting percentage. Rego had a career-high 19 kills against Evansville. She is averaging 2.87 kills per set in Valley play with five double-digit kill matches. She was named MVC Freshman of the Week Oct. 12.
