The Illinois State Athletics Department is prepared to "Pack the Arena" Saturday, Oct. 10, as the Redbird volleyball team hosts Northern Iowa on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena at 7:05 p.m. To assist the department in this event, ISU Athletics will be utilizing a mobile phone text promotion to make getting a free ticket even easier.
Patrons are asked to text the word "PACK" to 71857 to receive one free ticket on their mobile phone. Fans will simply have to show the text message on the match date to receive free admission into the facility.
In addition, physical coupons, which are good for one free admission, are also available at McDonald's, Arby's, Radio Bloomington, Papa John's, the Alamo II Bookstore, Taco Bell and Hanson's Dry Cleaners.
Prior to the match, the ISU volleyball team will host a free youth volleyball clinic for children, aged 12 and under. Registration for the clinic begins at 2:45 p.m. Following the match against Missouri Valley Conference opponent Northern Iowa, the Redbird team will also be available for an autograph session along the north-end tables along the floor.
