Fans heading up to Chicago for the Illinois State men's basketball game against Illinois-Chicago on Nov. 23 will have an opportunity to celebrate prior to the game with fellow Redbird supporters a pre-game reception hosted by the Illinois State Alumni Association.
The reception will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Union Park Tavern, located at 228 South Racine in Chicago, just 2.5 blocks away from the UIC Pavillion. A heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided with a cash bar. The menu includes mini burgers, spicy chicken wings, fresh vegetables, quesadillas (chicken and mushroom), and chicken bourbon skewers, as well as artichoke, portabella mushroom, and spinach dips. Cost is just $10 per person.

For game tickets, please contact the UIC ticket office at (312) 413-8421 and request seats in the Illinois State fan block. Tickets will be in the premium lower level and are $10 each (regular price $15).
