NORMAL, Ill. -
Saturday, Nov. 21, will be a busy day for Illinois State Athletics and for its fans with a football, men's basketball and volleyball game scheduled as part of a triple-header. As such, parking will be at a premium and The Redbird Club has announced its parking strategy for the busy day in Normal.
The Redbird football team will play Northern Iowa at noon at Hancock State to kick-start the excitement filled day. The football game will be followed by a men's basketball game at 4:05 p.m. on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena against North Florida and the Redird volleyball team will wrap up the day with a matchup against Missouri State at 7:35.
The parking lot directly east of Redbird Arena (Red Lot/Turner Lot) is donor parking for all three of those sports. The Green-G82 lot located directly west of the track is a donor lot for football and men's basketball. As such, please understand that parking for men's basketball on Nov. 21 may be crowded due to the football game being played prior to men's basketball, and we ask for your cooperation and understanding as we try to turn over the lot when TRC members arrive for the men's basketball game.
We ask for the same cooperation and understanding from TRC members with volleyball parking later that evening. Also, please note that the basketball Redbird Club Room and Legend's Room hospitality rooms will be open for the first time on November 27 (Norfolk State).
As always, thank you for your support of ISU Athletics and please contact The Redbird Club if you have any questions at 309-438-3803.
