The Illinois State women's tennis team has withdrawn from the Purdue Invitational being held this weekend due to scheduling conflicts. Due to the cancellation, head coach Chris Hoover has decided to add another tournament to the team's spring schedule.
The Redbirds will travel to Orlando, Fla., for their spring break trip, where they have added a match against Connecticut. The date has yet to be announced.
The `Birds will open their spring season with a spring version of the Purdue Invitational inside the Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Ind., on Jan 30.
