Robinson Departs Illinois State Basketball Program

Dec. 21, 2009

NORMAL, Ill. - Sophomore Jeremy Robinson has decided to leave the Illinois State men's basketball team, as announced by head coach Tim Jankovich Monday.

"Jeremy has decided to leave our program," Jankovich said. "I enjoyed the opportunity to coach Jeremy. I wish him the best in his future endeavors and appreciate his contributions to our program."

Robinson, who leaves in good academic standing, did not play in any games this season for the Redbirds. He saw action in 15 games last season and averaged 0.8 points and 0.7 rebounds per game, as a freshman.
