Redbirds' Series Finale in Nashville Cancelled

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The final game of Illinois State's four-game, season-opening series with Belmont has been cancelled due to forecasted cold weather conditions the team announced Sunday morning.

Game four against the Bruins was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Greer Stadium but expected wind chills were too frigid for the teams to play.

The Redbirds travel to Murray, Ky. next weekend where they will take on the Murray State Racers.
