Illinois State will visit Kansas Wednesday in the semifinals of the Women's National Invitation Tournament. The Redbirds and Jayhawks will tip-off their semifinal game at 7 p.m. CST.
Kansas (21-13) advanced to the semifinals with a 78-69 win at New Mexico Monday night. Illinois State is 0-3 all-time against Kansas. The two teams first met in 1975, a 67-55 Kansas win. Kansas won the next meeting in 1994, 95-74, in the Kansas Dial Classic. The Jayhawks came to Redbird Arena the following season, winning 91-66.
