Want to know what your favorite Illinois State student-athletes are really thinking, both on-and-off the court? How about what is their favorite thing to do in their spare time, or who is their funniest teammate or what is on their mind as they go through a practice or game? Well, look no further, as GoRedbirds.com and Redbird All-Access have you covered with a new video feature series that will give Redbird student-athletes a chance to talk and speak their minds on a weekly basis.
Up this week is senior Ashley Sandstead of the Illinois State women's basketball team.
Senior Ashley Sandstead already appreciates the postseason run by the women's team in the WNIT, especially the opportunity to host two games since senior night and the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament did not go as planned.
In this week's student-athlete video feature, Sanstead discusses life after basketball, personal hobbies and lessons learned from the game and the Redbird coaching staff.
