NORMAL, Ill. - Openings remain for the Illinois State baseball high school showcase camp at Duffy Bass Field set for August 15. The camp is intended to prepare high school students for varsity success and beyond.
The camp is designed for serious high school players who want to find out what it takes to play at the college level. Each camper will receive a comprehensive evaluation following the camp. Space is limited to 48 participants in each session
"The goal of our high school showcase camp is to provide maximum exposure for the high school student-athlete," Illinois State head coach Mark Kingston said. "The day will be filled with high-level instruction, and one-on-one interaction. This is a great way to learn more about the Redbird Baseball program, while we in turn learn more about each camper."
The session costs $150 and will consist of position specific instruction, a "pro-style" workout, game play, and informational sessions about strength training and NCAA rules. Registration for the session is available online through the "Camps" link at GoRedbirds.com and will remain open until each session is full.
