Illinois State fans have a chance to see Redbird legend Kristi Cirone in her return to Illinois as a member of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun. Illinois State Athletics has arranged a bus trip to Chicago for fans to watch the Sun take on the Chicago Sky Tuesday, June 16, at 7 p.m. at the UIC Pavillion.
Tickets for the bus and game are $50 per person. Interested patrons should call the Redbird Arena Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000 to make reservations. The office will be open Tuesday, June 9, at 9 a.m., and reservations will be taken, until 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 11. All reservations must be paid for in advance by credit card.
Seats on the bus are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and a full bus is required to make the trip. The bus will depart Tuesday, June 16, at 3 p.m. from the G-82 parking lot located north of Horton Field House by the outdoor track. Fans will be dropped off at the UIC Pavilion and will have an opportunity to eat and pick-up their tickets prior to the start of the game.
