Local Girl Scouts, aged 12 and under, have the opportunity to participate in a unique exclusive experience with the Illinois State volleyball team Sept. 26 at Redbird Arena.
Beginning at 10 a.m., Sept. 26, Girl Scouts can register at the North entrance of Redbird Arena for a free volleyball clinic with the Redbirds. Following the clinic, the Redbird team will be available for an autograph session. At noon, lunch and other fun activities will be provided, and then at 2 p.m., each Girl Scout will be given a free ticket to watch the Illinois State volleyball match against Creighton.
Scouts and leaders will receive free game admission, while family members will need to purchase individual game tickets. In addition, each participant is asked to wear active clothes and clean tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.
