NORMAL, Ill. - This week's schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird football, volleyball, men's basketball, golf, and cross country.
Redbird All-Access coverage begins with Redbird football's weekly press conference. Log on to watch head coach Brock Spack along with Mike Piton and Matt Lancaster, as they discuss the upcoming Homecoming game against North Dakota State. Live footage begins at 12 p.m. On-demand Birdcast audio will be available after the press conference. Redbird Birdcast will also release two new on-demand interviews with women's golf head coach Darby Sligh, and the "Ultramarathon Man" Dean Karnazes.
Long awaited Redbird men's basketball returns to the spotlight Wednesday afternoon, as it host it annual media day press conference. Live coverage from the Redbird Arena Press Room begins promptly at 2:30 p.m. Audio only press conference coverage will also be available for on-demand listening after media day has commenced. In addition, The Drew Roff Show will be available for on-demand listening on Wednesday as well.
Thursday kicks off the event-filled Homecoming weekend for ISU athletics, with Redbird volleyball matching up against Northern Iowa. The first serve is set for 7:05 p.m. A post-match interview with head coach Melissa Myers will be available for on-demand listening at the end of the game.
Redbird basketball host its annual Hoopfest Friday evening in historic Horton Field House. The event is slated to begin at 7 p.m. As a special addition, ISU's athletics Birdcast will feature an interview with head cross country coach Jeff Bovee, as he discusses NCAA Pre-Nationals coming up.
Rise and shine, All-Access members are urged to wake up early and log-on to watch the Hall of Fame breakfast at 8 a.m., as the new class 2010 class is inducted into the Redbird Athletics Hall of Fame. Later in the afternoon, Redbird football returns to the gridiron to compete against North Dakota State. Kick-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. Directly following the game the post game press conference will take place live including head coach Brock Spack, along with two highlight Redbird players.
Redbird All-Access Homecoming coverage comes to a close Sunday afternoon with Redbird volleyball, as it matches up against ISU rival, the Bradley Braves. Start time is scheduled to begin at 2:05 p.m. A post-match interview with head coach Melissa Myers will be available for on-demand listening at the end of the game.
