NORMAL, Ill. - This week's schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird football, volleyball, Redbird men's basketball, and women's hoops.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week kicks off Monday, with the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come. WJBC's Redbird football game highlights will also be available for on-demand listening.
Redbird All-Access coverage begins Wednesday evening with Redbird men's basketball competing in its second non-conference game of the regular season. The 'Birds matchup against the Tigers of Tennessee State starting at 7:05 p.m. at Redbird Arena. Directly following the game, the post game press conference will take place with head coach Tim Jankovich, and highlight Redbird players. On-demand Birdcast audio will be available after the press conference as well.
Thursday afternoon, The Melissa Myers Show will be made obtainable for on-demand listening on GoRedbirds.com. Later Thursday night, Redbird women's hoops matches up against in-state foe Eastern Illinois. Live coverage begins at 7:05 p.m. on Doug Collins Court. Immediately after the game commences, the post game press conference will take place including comments from head coach Stephanie Glance, and standout Redbird players from the game. On-demand Birdcast audio will be available after the press conference as well.
The busy week continues Friday evening with senior night for Redbird volleyball as it hosts its final regular-season game against Indiana State. Exclusive coverage from Redbird Arena begins promptly at 7:05 p.m. Birdcast will feature a post-match on-demand interview with head coach Melissa Myers, after the conclusion of the game.
Redbird women's basketball owns Saturday evening on Illinois State campus being the only athletic event occurring. The 'Birds face-off against SIU Edwardsville at 4:05 p.m. on Doug Collins Court.
