Redbird fans now have the ability to receive live play-by-play audio of Illinois State men's and women's basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer via their telephones.
Thanks to a partnership with the WJBC Country Financial Redbird Radio Network and AudioNow, fans can access live game audio by dialing in with their cellular or landline phones. Although standard calling rates apply to each call, the play-by-play audio is presented free of a subscription fee.
All football, men's basketball, and most women's basketball play-by-play broadcasts are available by calling 712-432-1967. Most volleyball and baseball broadcasts can be accessed by calling 712-432-1969, and all soccer and softball broadcasts are accessible by calling 712-432-1968. Fans simply dial the number corresponding to the sport they wish to hear, and once connected, the live audio will play back through their phones.
Additionally, fans can listen to live Redbird play-by-play online by visiting GoRedbirds.com, or by tuning into the WJBC Country Financial Redbird Radio Network, presented locally on flagship station WJBC AM 1230 and FM 93.7.
