NORMAL, Ill. - This week's schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird football, volleyball, soccer, men's and women's basketball, cross country, and swimming and diving.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week kicks off Monday, with the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come. WJBC's Redbird football game highlights will also be available for on-demand listening.
Redbird All-Access coverage begins Tuesday afternoon with Redbird football's last weekly press conference for the 2010 regular season. Log on to watch head coach Brock Spack and two select Redbird players, as they discuss the upcoming game against in-state foe, Eastern Illinois. Live footage begins at 12 p.m. On-demand Birdcast audio will be available after the press conference.
Following the football press conference, both Redbird basketball teams will hosts their first weekly press conference of the 2010-11 season. First up, Redbird men's basketball's presser will being at 1 p.m. including comments from head coach Tim Jankovich and two Redbird players. Directly following the men, Redbird women's press conference begins at 1:30 p.m., featuring head coach Stephanie Glance and two select players. On-demand Birdcast audio will be available after both press conferences have commenced.
Wednesday evening, Redbird men's hoops returns to Redbird Arena to compete in its lone exhibition game of the season versus Quincy. Live coverage from Doug Collins Court begins at 7:05 p.m. Immediately following the game, the post game press conference will take place including coach Jankovich and two highlight Redbird players form the game. The Drew Roff Show will also be available for on-demand listening, followed by The Melissa Myers Show on Thursday afternoon.
Thursday, Redbird Birdcast will also be airing on-demand interviews with head cross country coach Jeff Bovee, and head swimming and diving coach Steve Paska, to discuss the weekend's upcoming competitions. While Illinois State volleyball is away at Bradley, Birdcast will feature a post-match on-demand interview with Melissa Myers, after the conclusion of the game.
Friday evening, Illinois State swimming and diving returns to historic Horton Field House Pool to compete against Illinois. The first race is scheduled for 6 p.m. A post-game interview with Stephanie Glance will be obtainable for on-demand listening after the road game against Illinois.
Redbird football battles in its last home game Saturday afternoon at Hancock Stadium against Eastern Illinois. Kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. All-Access members can log on to watch the post game press conference directly after the game, featuring head coach Brock Spack and two Redbird highlight players. Birdcast will also have a post-match interview with head volleyball coach Melissa Myers posted for on-demand listening after the match at UNI commences.
ISU's multimedia coverage comes to a close Sunday afternoon, as Redbird men's basketball open's its regular season schedule against SIU Edwardsville. Log on to watch live game footage at 2:05 p.m. Immediately following the game, the post game presser will occur including head coach Tim Jankovich and two Redbird players.
