TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Illinois State's Dinma Odiakosa poured in the second-consecutive 20-point scoring game of his career, but it was Harry Marshall's eight-straight second-half points that sent the Redbirds to their fourth-straight road loss, 72-65, at the Hulman Center Wednesday night.

The Redbirds fell to 15-8 on the season and 6-6 in Missouri Valley Conference play, as Indiana State improved to 14-9 and 6-6, respectively.

With Indiana State leading 59-54, Marshall sank eight of the next 14Sycamore points, including 11 straight, to take control. The Redbirds were able to get within two points, 67-65 with 52 seconds left, but Carl Richard sank two free throws to pad the four-point cushion. Following an offensive charge on Osiris Eldridge, the margin proved to be enough.

Indiana State's Koang Doluony attempted and made one field goal in the first half, but it proved to be the difference in the game's first 20 minutes. Doluony sank a three-point shot in the final second of the first half and as a result, Indiana State held a 36-34 lead at the intermission. The Redbirds led by as many as six points in the first half, but were unable to sustain it and trailed at the half for the 11th time this season.

Odiakosa finished with 21 points, thanks to a 11-for-13 effort from the line, and added nine rebounds. He was the only Redbird in double-digits, as Tony Lewis chipped in nine points. Eldridge finished with six points, all from the line, after shooting 0-for-7 from the floor.

Marshall led the Sycamores with 18 points and Rashad Reed added 14 points. Carl Richard finished with 11 points and Jordan Printy tossed in 10.

The Redbirds will be back in action Saturday night, when Illinois State hosts Drake on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena. The game is scheduled to tip at 7:05 p.m.
