GoRedbirds.com unveiled "RedbirdsLive" Thursday, the official iPhone application of Illinois State Athletics. "RedbirdsLive" offers iPhone owners easy access to up-to-the-minute news, scores, schedules, rosters and streaming audio and video for the 2009-2010 school year. "RedbirdsLive" is $4.99 per year and can be downloaded from the iTunes store or from the App Store on your iPhone.
The application provides iPhone owners an interface that gives them immediate mobile access to essential information from GoRedbirds.com the official athletic web site of Illinois State Athletics. Fans no longer have to wait until they have access to a computer or internet connection to keep up with their favorite ISU sport. Now they can take it with them!
The initial launch of "RedbirdsLive" will include access to the following features:

Breaking news, by sport, available exclusively from GoRedbirds.com
SCORES
Updated score, schedule and venue information for each contest, and results from past events.
SCHEDULES
Complete schedules for each sport by date, time, location and opponent. Includes home and away team rosters and bio information for each student-athlete.
VIDEO
Select on-demand audio and video clips.
Future versions of "RedbirdsLive" may include access to:
Subscription access to premium audio and video content through your iPhone. Subscribe to Redbird All-Access and experience premium multimedia when you're away from your computer.
Live play-by-play through GameTracker.
The "RedbirdsLive" iPhone application is only compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch and requires iPhone OS 2.0 or later.
