Threloff to Play in IBCA 3A/4A All-Star Game

NORMAL, Ill. - Incoming Illinois State freshman Jordan Threloff will close out his prep career by suiting up for the North squad in the annual Class 3A/4A Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) All-Star Game this Saturday, at 7 p.m., at the Shirk Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan.

Threloff, a 6-foot-10 center, lettered four years for head coach Dave Rohlman at DeKalb High School. As a senior, Threloff led the Barbs to a 22-8 record and their second-straight conference title. Threloff averaged a team-best 18.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocked shots per game. He finished his high school career with over 1,500 points, more than 1,000 rebounds and 250-plus blocked shots.

The North squad, coached by Lake Zurich's John Zarr, features four NCAA Division I recruits, as Illinois' Crandell Head, Valparaiso's Jay Harris and Saint Louis' Dwayne Evans each join Illinois State's Threloff.

Prior to the IBCA Class 3A/4A All-Star Game, the Class 1A/2A All-Star Game will begin at 5 p.m. Advance tickets are $6 per person and admission is $7 at the door.
