NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird basketball and gymnastics, along with a podcast from men's tennis.
Illinois State's men's basketball is back on the road Tuesday night in Des Moines, Iowa, at Drake in search of its first conference win of the season. Live game audio will be streamed along with a post-game interview with head coach Tim Jankovich, available for on-demand listening shortly after the end of the game.
Later in the week, Redbird All-Access returns Thursday evening, with game action from Redbird women's basketball against the Creighton Bluejays. Exclusive live game coverage from Doug Collins Court will begin promptly at 7:05 p.m. Shortly after the game commences, the post-game press conference will take place, including comments from the opposing team's head coach and players, head coach Stephanie Glance and two select Redbird players. Redbird Birdcast will also feature on-demand audio highlights posted after the game. In addition, Redbird Birdcast will feature another on-demand episode of the Cris James podcast, as he discusses the upcoming Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships.
As ISU's gymnastics team prepares for another home competition this weekend, Birdcast will sit down with head coach Bob Conkling to discuss the meet. This podcast will be obtainable for on-demand listening Friday afternoon.
Saturday afternoon, Redbird women's hoops remains at home for its second game of the week against Drake. All-Access subscribers can log on at 4:05 p.m. to watch live game coverage. Directly following the game, the post-game press conference will take place including comments from head coach Stephanie Glance and two Redbird players. Redbird Birdcast will also feature on-demand audio highlights posted after the game.
Redbird All-Access coverage for the week ends Sunday with two Illinois State Athletic events. First up, Redbird gymnastics host Illinois-Chicago, Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan, in its second home meet of the season. Live meet coverage, including commentary from former gymnast Sarah Anderson, starts at 2 p.m. Later in the evening, Redbird men's basketball competes against in-state foe Southern Illinois, at Redbird Arena. Redbird All-Access will not be live streaming the game due to live television coverage courtesy of Valley TV, per the conferences’ television contract. The game will be available on Redbird All-Access via on demand after the game. Immediately following the end of the game, the post-game press conference will be held in the Redbird Arena Press Room, featuring head coach Tim Jankovich and two standout Redbird players from the game. On-demand Birdcast game highlights will be posted for on-demand listening, shortly following the conclusion of the game.
