NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird basketball and gymnastics, along with podcast episodes from women's tennis and women's golf.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week kicks off Monday, with the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come.
After a two week break, Redbird men's and women's basketball will hold another mid-day press conference to discuss the upcoming games. Illinois State's men's basketball team begins its press conference first at 1 p.m., immediately followed by Redbird women's basketball at 1:30 p.m. Both press conferences will be streamed live from the Redbird Arena Press Room.
ISU men's basketball is back on the road Wednesday night at Bradley hoping to add another win to its conference record. Live game audio will be streamed along with a post-game interview with head coach Tim Jankovich, available for on-demand listening shortly after the end of the game. Birdcast will also feature on-demand audio highlights posted after the game.
Thursday afternoon at noon, Redbird women's hoops matches up against the Southern Illinois Salukis in Carbondale, Ill. Live game audio will be streamed along with a post-game interview with head coach Stephanie Glance and game highlights, will be available for on-demand listening shortly after the end of the game.
Friday afternoon, All-Access subscribers can log on to listen to on-demand podcast interviews will head women's tennis coach Chris Hoover and head women's golf coach Darby Sligh, as both coaches discuss the upcoming competitions for the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, Redbird women's basketball continues its two-game road trip at Evansville. Listen to live game audio and the post-game interview with head coach Glance, shortly after the end of the game. Birdcast will also feature on-demand audio highlights posted after the game commences.
Redbird All-Access comes to a close with a jam packed day of athletic events on the ISU campus. First up, Redbird swimming and diving host its last home meet of the season against conference foe Northern Iowa. Live meet action begins promptly at 11 a.m. Following the swim meet, Redbird men's basketball battle against the Drake Bulldogs on Doug Collins Court. Exclusive game coverage begins at 2 p.m. Directly following the game, the post-game press conference will take place including comments from the opposing team, head coach Tim Jankovich and standout Redbird players from the game. On-demand Birdcast game highlights will be posted for on-demand listening, shortly following the conclusion of the game.
At the same time men’s basketball is playing, Illinois State's gymnastics team battles against no. 23 ranked Denver. Live meet coverage from historic Horton Field House begins at 3 p.m.
