NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird basketball and gymnastics.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week kicks off Monday, with the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come. In addition, a post-game interview with head coach Stephanie Glance with be featured to discuss Illinois State's matchup against Northern Illinois.
Redbird men's basketball remains on the road Tuesday evening at Indiana State. A post-game interview and game highlights will be available for on-demand listening on Birdcast, shortly after the game.
Thursday afternoon, both Illinois State hoop squads return to campus for their weekly press conferences. All-Access subscribers can log on at 1 p.m. to watch head coach Tim Jankovich and a Redbird player will discuss the upcoming conference games. Redbird women's basketball follow the men, starting its press conference approximately at 1:30 p.m. Birdcast will also be featuring an on-demand interview with head gymnastics coach Bob Conkling, covering the 'Birds 2011 season opener.
Redbird men's basketball returns to Redbird Arena Friday night, as it attempts to add another win to its record by defeating Wichita State. Live game coverage begins promptly at 7:05 p.m. Immediately following the end of the game, the post-game press conference will be held in the Redbird Arena Press Room, featuring head coach Tim Jankovich and two standout Redbird players from the game. On-demand Birdcast audio will be available after the press conference commences. Audio game highlights will be made available on Birdcast shortly after the end of the game.
Saturday afternoon, Redbird gymnastics opens its 2011 season at home as it hosts Southeast Missouri State. Live meet coverage from historic Horton Field House begins promptly at 5 p.m. In addition, Birdcast will be offering a post-game interview with Stephanie Glance, covering Illinois State's game at Indiana State.
Redbird multimedia coverage comes to a close Sunday evening, as Birdcast will be featuring a post-game interview with head coach Tim Jankovich, to discuss the Redbirds road-game at Southern Illinois. Audio game highlights will be made available on Birdcast also shortly after the end of the game.
