Weekly Press Conference Streaming Live Tuesday

Oct. 11, 2011

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State football head coach Brock Spack will preview his team's Homecoming game against No. 14 South Dakota and ISU volleyball head coach Melissa Myers will talk about her squad's upcoming game against Indiana State at the Illinois State Coaches Luncheon Tuesday, Oct. 11, at noon at the Kaufman Football Building.

Coming off a 38-13 win on the road last weekend at Missouri State, Illinois State football team (3-3, 2-2 MVFC) will return home Saturday to host non-conference foe South Dakota (4-2, 1-0 GWC) on Homecoming 2011 at Hancock Stadium and will look to stay undefeated at home this season. ISU senior offensive lineman Nick Bledsoe and freshman punt returner Donovan Harden will join the press conference and offer their insights on the game against the Coyotes.

The Redbirds and the Coyotes will be playing for the first time in the history of both programs. However, when South Dakota joins the Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2012, the two teams will meet regularly in the upcoming seasons.

With three-straight conference wins in a row, the ISU volleyball team will look to keep that momentum Thursday in another Valley matchup against the Sycamores at Redbird Arena. Following the game, the Redbirds will return to the road next week for tough games at Bradley and nationally-ranked Northern Iowa. Sophomore middle blocker LeighAnn Hranka will join coach Myers at the press conference and will talk about her team's recent success on its homestand.

The live video can be seen on Redbird All-Access, the Illinois State Athletics Department's exclusive multimedia platform. The video will also be archived following the completion of the press conference and can then be viewed on demand. Weekly programming schedules and complete Redbird All-Access information are also available online.
