NORMAL, Ill. –This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird men's and women's basketball, football and volleyball.
Redbird All-Access coverage starts Tuesday with the return of the Redbird football and volleyball weekly press conference. Log on to watch head coach Brock Spack with two players for the football press conference at noon, directly followed by Redbird volleyball at 12:30 p.m. Both press conferences will be available for on-demand listening on Birdcast later in the afternoon.
Birdcast coverage begins on Wednesday, with the final The Drew Roff Show of the season. Check for the podcast Wednesday afternoon for on-demand listening. The Melissa Myers Show will return Thursday afternoon for on-demand listening.
Redbird All-Access coverage returns Thursday evening with Redbird men's basketball opening regular-season play at Redbird Arena. The 'Birds compete against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville at 7:05 p.m., on Doug Collins Court. Directly following the game, the post-game press conference will take place with comments from the opponent; head coach Tim Jankovich and select Redbird players. On-demand audio will be obtainable after the press conference as well.
Birdcast will also feature a post-game interview with head women’s basketball coach Stephanie Glance Thursday evening, as the ladies travel to Northwestern.
The busy week continues Friday evening with Redbird volleyball matching up against Wichita State at 7:05 p.m. The post-match press conference will take place directly after the game with Coach Myers and Redbird players.
All-Access coverage continues Saturday morning, with the 11a.m. start of Redbird football against Northern Iowa on the gridiron. Redbird All-Access will not be live streaming the football game due to live television coverage, per the conferences’ television contract. The game will be available on Redbird All-Access via on demand after the game. Quickly following the game, the post-game press conference will commence, including comments from the opponent, Coach Spack and select Redbird players. The WJBC game highlights will be available for on-demand listening shortly after the game as well.
Later Saturday afternoon, Illinois State men's hoops takes the court as it hosts Lipscomb at 4:05 p.m., in Redbird Arena. Directly following the men’s basketball game, Redbird volleyball will close out the busy day with its final game of the regular-season against Missouri State. Post-game press conferences will take place after the end of each game.
As a special promotion for all the events occurring on Saturday, Redbird fans can purchase a ticket for $10 to the ISU football game, which is then good for free admission to the men’s basketball and volleyball games.
