NORMAL, Ill.– This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird men's and women's basketball and volleyball.
Birdcast coverage this week begins on Monday, with head coach Stephanie Glance’s post-game interview, as the ISU women’s basketball team travels to Eastern Illinois. On-demand listening of this podcast will be available shortly after the game.
Tuesday evening, Redbird Birdcast features play-by-play highlights and a post-game interview with head coach Tim Jankovich, as the men’s basketball team plays on the road in the third game of the Cancun Challenge against Rutgers in Cancun, Mexico. Illinois State fans will be able to listen to the podcast on-demand after the game. Wednesday evening, Birdcast will have the play-by-play highlights and the Coach Jankovich post-game interview available for on-demand listening as well.
Redbird volleyball will be the sole ISU sport featured on Birdcast Thursday, as the team competes in the first round of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Listen to head coach Melissa Myer’s post-game podcast shortly after the game ends.
Redbird All-Access returns Saturday afternoon, as the Illinois State’s women’s basketball team host Northern Illinois at 4:05 p.m. on Doug Collins Court. After the game, the post-game press conference will take place including comments from the opponent, Coach Glance and two Redbird players. Birdcast will feature the post-game interview for on-demand listening also.
Sunday afternoon, Redbird men’s hoops returns to Redbird Arena to host Bethune-Cookman at 2:05 p.m. Promptly after the game, the post-game press conference will begin, with comments from the opponent, Coach Jankovich and select Redbird players. Play-by-play highlights will also be posted for on-demand listening after the game commences.
