NORMAL, Ill. -
Illinois State head baseball coach Mark Kingston and head softball coach Melinda Fischer will offer insight into the 2011 baseball and softball seasons during media day this afternoon, starting at 1 p.m.
The ISU baseball team begins the season Friday at Belmont, while the softball team, which is off to a 4-1 start, continues play in Tempe, Ariz., Friday, against Idaho State. The media day coverage will begin today at 1 p.m. with the baseball press conference, from the media room in Redbird Arena. The softball press conference will follow, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Players will also be on hand to field questions.
The live video can be seen on Redbird All-Access, the Illinois State Athletics Department's exclusive multimedia platform. The video will also be archived following the completion of the press conference and can then be viewed on demand.
