NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird basketball, baseball and softball.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week begins Monday, with theRedbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come.
In addition, Redbird men's and women's basketball will be holding mid-day press conferences to discuss the upcoming final home games of the regular season. Men's basketball begins first at 1 p.m., with comments from head coach Tim Jankovich and Justin Clark. Women's basketball begins addressing the media at 1:30 p.m., with comments from head coach Stephanie Glance and one Redbird player.
Tuesday evening, the traditional rivalry game against ISU and Bradley returns to Doug Collins Court. Exclusive live game coverage from Redbird Arena begins promptly at 7:05 p.m. Directly following the conclusion of the game, the post-game press conference will take place including remarks from the opposing team, Jankovich and two highlight Redbird players.
Another episode of The Melinda Fischer Show premieres Wednesday afternoon. Coach Fischer will be discussing the teams early season success and previewing the weekend's USF Fairfield Inn and Suites Tournament in Tampa, Fla. The podcast will be made available for on-demand listening.
Redbird All-Access coverage continues Thursday evening, as Illinois State's women's hoops returns to Redbird Arena after suffering a two-game losing streak on the road. The Redbirds will look for another win at home against the Evansville Purple Aces at 7:05 p.m. Shortly following the end of the game, the post-game press conference will begin including comments from the opposing team, Glance and two standout Redbird players.
The second episode of The Mark Kingston Show will also be made available for on-demand listening Thursday on Birdcast.
Redbird Birdcast will feature a special State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships preview podcast with track and field head coach Elvis Forde, Friday afternoon. On-demand listening will be obtainable for this interview. A post-game interview with Coach Kingston will also be posted for on-demand listening after Redbird baseball plays Austin Peay.
Shortly after the conclusion of Saturday morning's game against Milwaukee, Birdcast will feature another post-game interview with Coach Kingston to discuss the game.
Saturday night, ISU men's basketball is back on the road at Evansville. Game highlights and a post-game interview will be available for on-demand listening shortly after the game commences.
Redbird All-Access coverage comes to a close Sunday afternoon, as Redbird women's basketball battles against in-state foe Southern Illinois. Tip-off is slated for 2:05 p.m. at Redbird Arena. Directly following the game, the post-game press conference will take place including remarks from the opposing team, Coach Glance and two highlight Redbird players.
Post-game comments from Kingston will also be available from on-demand listening after ISU competes against Milwaukee in the final game of a two-game series.
