NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird basketball and baseball.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week begins Tuesday, with the men's and women's basketball mid-day press conferences. Both press conferences can be listened to on Redbird Birdcast on-demand.
Wednesday, an episode of The Melinda Fischer Show will be added to the Birdcast archives, as Coach Fischer discusses the Redbirds up and coming tournament play at the Citrus Classic held in Orlando, Fla. this weekend. Coach Fischer will be joined be recent perfect game pitcher, Taylor Baxter. This podcast will be obtainable for on-demand listening Wednesday afternoon.
Birdcast continues it busy schedule of podcasts Thursday afternoon, as the latest episode of The Mark Kingston Show will be available to fans for on-demand listening.
Redbird women's basketball travels to ISU Peoria, Ill., to battle against longtime rival, the Bradley Braves. The post-game interview with head coach Stephanie Glance will be available for on-demand listening after the game ends.
Redbird men's basketball opens the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Thursday night in St. Louis, as it battles in-state foe Southern Illinois. Shortly following the end of the game, an on-demand post-game podcast interview with head coach Tim Jankovich will be available for listening, along with game highlights.
Within its last week of conference play, Illinois State's women's basketball is also in action on Thursday night. As the Redbirds travel to Northern Iowa, Birdcast will feature a post-game podcast interview with Coach Glance.
Elsewhere in Florida, Redbird baseball will be competing in the Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational in Winter Haven, Fla. As part of the three-game tournament lineup for the Redbirds, ISU competes against Mount St. Mary's Friday evening. After the game commences, a post-game interview with Coach Kingston will be obtainable for on-demand listening.
Saturday afternoon, Redbird baseball laces up for its second game of the tournament against Xavier. Kingston's post-game interview will be available for on-demand listening after the game.
Redbird women's basketball closes out its conference play Saturday afternoon as well, as the 'Birds travel to Northern Iowa. Glance's post-game interview will be available shortly after the end of the game.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week ends Sunday afternoon with Redbird baseball, as it competes in its last game of the tournament against Bowling Green. Coach Kingston's post-game interview will be obtainable directly following the end of the game.
