NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird softball, baseball and women's basketball.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week begins Monday, with the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come.
Tuesday afternoon, Redbird football returns to the limelight with its spring season press conference. All-Access fans can log on to watch offensive coordinator Luke Huard, newly appointed defensive coordinator Steve Szabo and head coach Brock Spack, as they discuss the upcoming spring camp. Live coverage begins promptly at noon.
Elsewhere in West Lafayette, Ind., Redbird baseball will compete against the Purdue Boilermakers. The on-demand post-game interview with head coach Mark Kingston will be available for listening after the game.
This week's episode of The Melinda Fischer Show will feature Coach Fischer discussing last week's victorious series against Bradley, as well as previewing this weekend's series against Wichita State. This podcast will be posted Wednesday afternoon for on-demand listening.
Illinois State's women's basketball team continues its post-season play Thursday, as it matches up against Duquesne in the WNIT third round. Exclusive game coverage from Doug Collins Court starts at 7:05 p.m. A post-game press conference will take place shortly after the game ends including comments from the opposing team, head coach Stephanie Glance and two standout Redbird players of the game. The latest episode of The Mark Kingston Show will also be posted on Birdcast for on-demand listening Thursday.
Redbird baseball returns to Duffy Bass Field Friday afternoon, with its first game in a three-game series against the Golden Grizzles of Oakland University. The first pitch is slated for 3 p.m. Fans will find Coach Kingston's post-game interview on Birdcast after the game commences.
Saturday afternoon, game two of the Illinois State-Oakland baseball series continues at Duffy Bass Field. Live game coverage begins at 2 p.m. Kingston's post-game interview will be available for on-demand listening shortly after the game.
Redbird multimedia coverage comes to a close Sunday afternoon, as Redbird baseball ends its weekend series against Oakland. Game three is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Look for Coach Kingston's post-game interview on Birdcast shortly after the game ends.
