NORMAL, Ill. - This week's schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird baseball, softball, tennis and men's golf.
Redbird multimedia coverage for the week begins Monday, with the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Redbird baseball will attempt to play yet another game against in-state foe, Illinois Wesleyan, at Duffy Bass Field at 4:30 p.m. Redbird fans will be able to listen to head coach Mark Kingston's post-game interview on-demand on Birdcast shortly after the game.
Elsewhere in competition, Illinois State softball will travel to Terre Haute, Ind., to finish its last game of a three-game series against the Indiana State Sycamores.
Thursday marks a content filled day on Redbird Birdcast. The latest episodes of The Melinda Fischer Show and The Mark Kingston Show, will be available Thursday morning for listening. In addition, Birdcast will feature special podcast interviews with both men's and women's tennis head coaches, Cris James and Chris Hoover, along with a Ray Kralis podcast discussing the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Championships. All podcasts will be available for on-demand listening Thursday afternoon.
ISU baseball returns to conference play Friday afternoon at Duffy Bass Field, against Indiana State. The first of a three-game weekend series begins at 4:30 p.m. Kingston's post-game comments will be posted for on-demand listening shortly after each game of the series.
Redbird softball competes in its last home series of the regular season Saturday afternoon, as it matches up against Southern Illinois. Game one is slated to begin at 12 p.m., followed by game two starting roughly at 2 p.m. Across the way, ISU baseball plays in its second game against the Sycamores at 2 p.m.
Redbird All-Access coverage comes to a close for the weekend Sunday, as Redbird softball finishes its last game of the Southern Illinois weekend-series at noon, while Redbird baseball plays game three at 1 p.m.
