NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird baseball and softball.
The newest version of the Redbird Rewind Birdcast, a recap of the previous week in Redbird Athletics and previews for the week to come, debuts Monday afternoon for on-demand availability.
Tuesday afternoon, Redbird baseball travels to Macomb, Ill., for its last away game of the regular season against Western Illinois. Head coach Mark Kingston's post-game interview will be available for on-demand listening shortly after the game.
The newest version of The Mark Kingston Show premieres Wednesday afternoon on Redbird Birdcast. Redbird fans can listen to this episode on-demand on Birdcast.
Thursday, the latest episodes of The Melinda Fischer Show will be posted for on-demand listening on Redbird Birdcast. In addition, Illinois State baseball will hosts Evansville in its last conference series of the regular season. Game one of a three-game series begins at 4:30 p.m., at Duffy Bass Field. Game two for Redbird baseball starts at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, and game three is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Coach Kingston's post-game interviews will be posted for on-demand listening after the conclusion of each game.
Elsewhere in competition, Redbird softball competes in the NCAA Division I Softball Championships at Missouri. The 'Birds open up tournament play against the Tigers of Missouri on Friday afternoon. Coach Fischer's post-game interviews will be available for on-demand listening shortly after each game.
