NORMAL, Ill. -
Illinois State guard Justin Clark will not be returning to the Redbird men's basketball team, or campus, according to head coach Tim Jankovich.
"We appreciate all of the Justin's efforts during his time here and wish him nothing but the best," Jankovich said. "Hopefully a fresh start will have a positive impact for him."
Clark played two seasons for the Redbirds and averaged 2.4 points per game during his career. He began his collegiate career on a 2-for-27 (.074) three-point shooting slump and shot 24-for-103 (.233) from beyond the arc over his two seasons at Illinois State. Clark posted six double-digit scoring games at ISU, including a career-best 20 points against Tennessee State last season. He played in 59 games as a Redbird and recorded nine starting assignments.
