NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State gymnastics will recognize the 2002 ISU gymnastics team prior to the start of the Illinois State meet against Southeast Missouri State Saturday, at 5 p.m. in historic Horton Field House.
The 2002 team placed second in the Midwest Independent Conference Championships with a score of (193.875), and then continued on to place sixth in the NCAA Division I South Central Regional Championships, scoring (189.975). The team is one of eight teams to have competed in the post-season for Illinois State gymnastics, and one of six teams to compete in NCAA regional competition.
Other alumni gymnast is attendance will be recognized after the second event rotation.
Admission is free for all gymnastics meets.
