The Illinois State Athletics Department will host its annual `Redbird Rally' in St. Louis at the Millenium Hotel prior to the Redbird men's basketball team's first game at the 2012 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, March 1-4, at the Scottrade Center.
The event will take place in the Millennium Hotel lobby three hours prior to the Redbirds' first game of the tournament. There is no cost to attend the event and food may be purchased at the hotel bar (Martini's Lounge). Two complimentary drink tickets per hotel room will be provided to fans staying under the ISU Fan Block at the Millenium Hotel. While rooms are still available at the hotel, the ISU Fan Block has been sold out.
"We are excited to host our annual pre-game event at the Millennium Hotel again," ISU Assistant Athletics Director for Development Matt Lyons said. "The `Redbird Rally' is a great event that allows the Redbird nation to get energized about Illinois State's first game of the MVC tournament, as well as help send the team off as they depart the team hotel for their first game."
The Millennium Hotel, the official home for Illinois State during the tournament, will be the site of all team send-offs and welcome-backs during the tournament. The first welcome back will take place following the conclusion of the Redbirds' first game in the tournament. Fans are encouraged to meet in the lobby approximately 30 minutes after the game is completed to welcome back the team. The remaining team send-offs and welcome back events will be contingent on the team's advancement in the tournament.

Information regarding the `Redbird Rally' at the women's 2012 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament (March 8-11 in St. Charles) will be released next week.
