NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State Athletics Department will acknowledge a special group on Friday, May 4, as Redbird baseball hosts Southern Illinois on Fan Appreciation Day. First pitch is slated for 4:30 p.m.
As part of Fan Appreciation Day, every fan in attendance will have the opportunity to win prizes from one of the many Redbird Athletics sponsors throughout the game. All patrons will receive a raffle ticket upon entering the ballpark, and winning numbers will be announced throughout the duration of the game. Event sponsors include Upper Limits, Avanti's, Starcrest Cleaners and more.
Admission to Duffy Bass Field for all Illinois State baseball games are free for the 2011-12 season.
