Level Next Music recording artist, ENDISKIZE, will perform live during the Illinois State baseball team's BaseBald Day, this Sunday, May 6 at Duffy Bass Field. ENDISKIZE is a hip-hop group that promotes a positive message and appeals to nearly all demographics.
ENDISKIZE will perform before Sunday's 1 p.m. game against Southern Illinois. The group will also sing the National Anthem. ENDISKIZE is primarily known for its single "We Don't Back Down," which is currently featured on ESPN. ENDISKIZE also prides itself on giving back to the community and supporting charitable organizations, such as Camp One Step at a Time. The group has opened for artists such as Jay Sean, Akon/DJ Benny D and Twista.
ENDISKIZE's appearance is in conjunction with Illinois State's BaseBald Day, which is being held to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation - an organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. The Redbirds have already raised over $6,000 for the St. Baldrick's foundation, which is more than $1,000 over the team's original goal. As a result, every member of the team, including coaches, with shave their heads on the main concourse of Duffy Bass Field following Sunday's game. Admission to the May 6 BaseBald game and the ENDISKIZE performance, along with admission to every home game this season, will be free. Media members are also invited to attend the postgame head shaving event.
