Spots Still Remain for Muller's First Camp

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State head basketball coach Dan Muller and his staff will conduct a pair of day camps this summer, for boys entering grades first through eighth, and there is still time to sign up.

An online application form is available to print on GoRedbirds.com, by either visiting the "Camps" page under the "Fan Zone" tab or on the men's basketball page under the "Men's Basketball Camp Form."

The first Day Camp will be held Monday, June 18, through Thursday, June 21, in Redbird Arena and Horton Field House. The Day Camp has an emphasis on the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense. Camp features daily skills competition, 3-on-3 and team play. In addition, Illinois State players serve as instructors and each camper receives a T-shirt and basketball. The cost of the camp is $215, and includes lunch while running daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The second, and final, Day Camp will be held Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19. This camp is only available to boys entering first through sixth grade. The format is similar to the first Day Camp with the same cost, including lunch, and each camper will receive a T-shirt and basketball.
