NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State soccer team always welcomes the Bloomington-Normal community to its sporting events, but Sunday, September 2, marks Community Day where local members from Big Brothers Big Sisters are invited to participate in game day activities. Kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. at Adelaide Street Field.
Members of Big Brothers Big Sisters will get the chance to join the high-five tunnel during team introductions. In addition, Reggie Redbird will be making an appearance at Adelaide Street Field from noon until 1 p.m. at Reggie’s Fun Zone. Fans will also have coloring sheets, poster making materials and a tattoo station available for their enjoyment in the Fun Zone.
As always for the 2012 season, admission is free and Sodexo will be serving $1 hotdogs.
